One sales channel. Clear roles for buyers and reps.

Commercial control

Put the offering you want to sell in front of buyers.

Your portal should reflect your sales decisions, rather than make your team work around a generic storefront.

Manage the online offering.

The distributor-side inventory and pricing manager gives your team a place to manage the material and pricing behind the customer buying experience.

Support the account relationship.

Customer-specific pricing, contracts, and payment terms let the online experience reflect how you already do business with established accounts.

Give routine orders a clear path.

Let buyers quote and submit purchase orders online. Leave more room for your team to pursue open opportunities and handle commercial exceptions.

A practical sales setup

Start with how your team actually sells.

Review your catalog responsibilities, account rules, and order handoffs before choosing the rollout. The right setup makes everyday work easier to sustain.

Discuss your sales operation
  • Decide who manages the catalog.

Identify the people responsible for online material and pricing. SteelVend’s planned subscriptions include unlimited employee and customer accounts.

  • Separate routine from complex requests.

Choose which buying tasks customers can complete online and where your team should step in to clarify requirements or develop the opportunity.

  • Connect the order handoff.

Review ERP and CRM integration needs so your online channel fits the systems used by sales and operations.

Sales management questions

Ask us a question
Is this a replacement for our CRM?

SteelVend focuses on your customer portal and online sales workflow. ERP and CRM integration is included in the Business plan; it is not positioned as a replacement for your existing systems.

Are employee accounts limited?

The planned subscriptions include unlimited users for employees and customers. Your subscription does not increase simply because you add another account.

Can we keep working with buyers directly?

Yes. Online self-service is another buying channel. Your reps remain important for specifications, account development, and orders that need a conversation.
